Federatia Franceza de Le Droit Humain, membra a Lojii masonice Ritualul Scotian Antic si Acceptat, reprezentata de preşedintele său, Michel Payen, s-a întâlnit pe 8 Aprilie 2008, cu preşedintele Comisiei Europene, José-Manuel Barroso, [...] Această reuniune constituie un eveniment important in recunoasterea  locului ocupat de Francmasonerie în construcţia Europei; acest lucru a fost subliniat nu numai de interesul şi atentia arătata de Preşedintele Barroso  delegaţiei şi de timpul alocat intalnirii, dar şi de angajamentele la valorile liberale şi adogmatice ale Francmasoneriei, poziţiilor şi opiniilor sale pentru subiecte de interes comun.

A fost prima dată că Masoneria, ca atare, s-a exprimat la un astfel de nivel înalt al instituţieilor Europene.

Delegaţia a primit asigurări din partea Preşedintelui Barroso de atasamentul sau la spiritul de “laicitate” şi a principiului separarii religiei de stat.

Delegaţia a subliniat importanţa Iluminismului în istoria Europei, o dimensiune ce trebuie luata în considerare cel puţin la fel de mult cu radacinile sale religioase, şi cu siguranţă  mai strâns legata de rădăcinile din antichitate.

În cele din urmă, a fost decis un principiu de comunicare între Ordinile masonice liberale si adogmatice şi serviciiile din cadrul Comisiei Europene, pentru a fi utilizat ori de câte ori este necesar.

Astfel, Federaţia franceză Le Droit Humain va propune, în viitorul apropiat, o recomandare cu privire la principiul de emancipare care ar trebui să constituie baza toturor sistemele europene de educaţie, în legătură directă  cu o recunoaştere a contribuţiei Iluminismului la cultură comuna a popoarelor care compune Europa, şi în conformitate cu principiile din Carta drepturilor fundamentale.

Comentariu: Pentru ca din curiozitate am urmarit documentul original / Comunicat de presă al-de la Droit Humain (gasiti aici , pdf), si tradus folosind  Google Translate . (pdf-ul a fost sters intre timp de pe site-ul  http://www.droithumain-france.org/ – nota mea ). Interesant e faptul că articolul de mai sus excluse informaţiile despre ceea ce au hotarat împreună organizaţiile la întâlnire… şi anume“Women’s Grand Lodge of France” , “the Grand Orient of Portugal” (Grande Oriente Lusitano) şi “Marele Orient din Franţa”. The French Federation of Human Rights represented by its President, Mr Michel Payen, was received on April 8, 2008 by the President of the European Commission, Mr Jose-Manuel Barroso, in a delegation composed of the Women’s Grand Lodge of France, the Grand Orient of Portugal and Grand Orient of France who had taken the initiative of this rendezvous in agreement with other obédiences adogmatiques at the meeting of the Grand Masters and Presidents of January 2008.

This meeting is a major event about the role of Masonry in construction of Europe, this place has been highlighted not only by the interest and listening real as President Barroso has shown the delegation and the time he spent but also by the commitments made in terms of attention to the values defended by Freemasonry liberal and adogmatique, its position and his opinion on major issues that concern them.

For the first time since the creation of the European Union, the Grand Master of the Grand Orient of France Jean-Michel QUILLARDET, accompanied by a delegation representing all Obediences Masonic Europe, was received on April 8, 2008 by Mr. José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission.

The Grand Master and his delegation reaffirmed their commitment to freedom of conscience and concern about the return of religious fundamentalism and in Europe.

President Barroso has, meanwhile, stressed the importance of the process of separation of church and state.

The historical roots of Europe were also raised by President Barroso has recognized the decisive contribution of the Enlightenment and the necessity of secularism.

The delegation gave him a note.

It was decided to continue this constructive dialogue through regular exchanges between the Commission and the European Obediences Masonic liberal and adogmatiques.

The Grand Master also called the European Union to a firm position regarding the unacceptable suffering for Human Rights in China.
